Brands we service in Rancho Bernardo
Two eras of kitchen fitting sit within a mile of each other in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego, and the appliance lineup gives away which one you are standing in.
On the original streets — Westwood, The Trails, Eastview, Bernardo Heights and Seven Oaks — the standard arrangement is a Sub-Zero built-in side-by-side with a mechanical ice maker in the freezer, a cooktop dropped into the counter and a wall oven built into the run beside it. None of that equipment keeps a fault history, which sounds like a handicap and mostly is not. Every part in it is discrete and testable with a meter, the gaskets and hinge hardware are replaceable, and a unit that has been running since the house was new normally wants a fan, a heater or a seal rather than anything dramatic.
North in 4S Ranch and the newer parts of Carmel Mountain Ranch the mix is different in every respect, and it is the sharpest generational split we see anywhere in San Diego County. Refrigeration arrives as paired columns behind custom panels, with a wine cabinet in a bar run and refrigerator or freezer drawers set into the island. Cooking is a Wolf range, or a rangetop with double wall ovens stacked beside it, or a Thermador induction top where the remodel went that way, and the dishwasher is frequently a Cove paneled to match the cabinets. Sub-Zero has never built a range and Wolf has never built refrigeration, so one kitchen up here routinely holds three manufacturers doing three separate jobs — and one visit from us covers the lot.
Sub-Zero
Refrigerator and freezer columns, integrated drawers, wine cabinets and the dual sealed system behind all of them.
Wolf
Ranges, rangetops and wall ovens. Most calls are an igniter, a spark module or an oven reading thirty degrees light.
Viking
Ranges, wall ovens and refrigeration built to commercial weight — and wearing the way commercial equipment wears.
Thermador
Ranges, induction cooktops, wall ovens and refrigeration columns — the most electronics of the lines we service.
Cove & other premium lines
The rest of the shelf — Cove, Miele, Bosch, Dacor, Gaggenau, GE Monogram — is work we do in the same kitchens.
