What happens on the day, what it costs, and who is responsible for what.
The work itself
The service is residential repair of built-in and professional appliances in Rancho Bernardo. Commercial kitchens, installation of new equipment and cabinetry work are outside it.
What it costs, and when
You hear the price first and pay afterwards. Sub-Zero Repair Rancho Bernardo quotes the repair once the fault is known — parts and labor in a single number — and payment is due on completion.
Access to the appliance
The technician works at the appliance rather than in a workshop, so access to the unit, and to the water shut-off where that is relevant, is the customer's side of the arrangement. The visit also needs an adult over 18 there from start to finish.
What we fit
Sub-Zero Repair Rancho Bernardo fits OEM parts, or parts from an authorized supplier when the factory part is unavailable. Aftermarket or refurbished components are not used unless you ask for them and we agree to it in advance.
How the fault is found

What our warranty covers
The labor Sub-Zero Repair Rancho Bernardo performs and the parts it supplies are warranted against failure of the same component. What it is not is a service contract on the appliance — a later fault with a different cause, damage from misuse or a power event, and anyone else's work afterwards all sit outside it. One caution worth more than the rest: a unit still inside the factory warranty should go to the manufacturer first, because the sealed system is usually only covered when they do it.
Changing or cancelling
There is no cancellation fee. Call (858) 630-4145 before the van leaves for Rancho Bernardo and the slot is moved or dropped with no charge.
Limits
This is a licensed and insured business, and the paperwork is available in advance to anyone who asks for it. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, manufacturer defects, spoiled food, or problems unrelated to the repair we carried out.
Jurisdiction
Anything arising out of these terms is a matter for California law.
