Our cubes had been shrinking for a couple of years, hollow and thin, and I was sure the ice maker was finished. He traced the line back instead and the saddle valve somebody tapped into the pipe when this Westwood house was newer had corroded nearly shut.
The wine column in our bar run out in The Crosby was reading right on the display, but corks had started pushing up on bottles nobody had touched. He measured at bottle level, several degrees warm, and the seal had gone slack along the hinge side.
Frost kept coming back on the freezer column in our 4S Ranch kitchen even after we defrosted it ourselves twice. Turned out the heater was open and the sensor was reading off. He ran a defrost cycle through in front of me so I could see it clear properly. No frost since.
